Charlotte Chatton-Adler, Principal
Charlotte was born in central London where she graduated from the top-ranked Italia Conti Academy of Theater Arts and began working as a film actress at age 13.  After guest-starring in hit TV shows directed by rising talents, such as Danny Boyle, she landed the coveted leading role in the award-winning film, Dakota Road (Working Title Films/Channel 4) that opened the London Film Festival and landed her representation at ICM. She moved to Los Angeles and starred in award-winning TV & Film productions (Titanic, Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman) for a decade before turning her attention to script development.  Charlotte founded The Next Level Script in 2009 and is now an international go-to story analyst and script-doctor to award-winning directors, producers and actors. She was the first executive producer to support the highly acclaimed and award-winning documentary, California Typewriter, featuring Tom Hanks, John Mayer and Sam Shepard. California Typewriter premiered at the 2016 Telluride Film Festival and was nominated for 3 Critics’ Choice Awards. She was also one of the first producers to support the award-winning documentary Women of the White Buffalo for which she also served as a writer.  Charlotte has been developing a slate of projects with the best of the writers she’s met along the way and is excited to produce them under her new Westmount Pictures banner.

Steffen Schlachtenhaufen, Head of Creative Content
Steffen is a screenwriter, producer and Emmy-winning VFX creative director. Born and raised in Wisconsin, Steffen studied Communications and Theater at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film. Three of his screenplays have recently been produced. The acclaimed horror film Would You Rather, directed by David Guy Levy, starring Brittany Snow (Pitch Perfect), Jeffrey Combs (Re-Animator), Robin Lord Taylor (Gotham) and June Squibb (Nebraska). It was released by IFC Midnight in 2013. Danger One, a dark comedic thriller directed by Tom Oesch, was released in 2018 by Freestyle Digital Media. Danger One stars Tom Everett Scott (That Thing You Do), Denis O’Hare (True Blood) and Michael O’Neil (Dallas Buyers Club). The Mandela Effect, directed by David Guy Levy, was released by Gravitas Ventures in 2019. The sci-fi drama stars Charlie Hofheimer (Mad Men), Aleksa Palladino (Boardwalk Empire), Robin Lord Taylor (Gotham), Ptolemy Slocum (Westworld) and Clarke Peters (The Wire). He also served as the Second Unit Director on IFC Midnight’s 2016 horror comedy Welcome to Willits, directing segments of Dolph Lungdren’s fictional cop show-within-the movie, Fists of Justice. In addition to feature films, Steffen is an accomplished producer, writer and VFX creative director on television documentaries for networks like PBS, History, and National Geographic. He has earned three different Emmy nominations, including one win in 2014. Notable works include Life After PeopleThe Universe and Big History.
